Strawberry Ranch Mountain Resort is a family-centered recreational community now being developed in Utah’s Wasatch Mountains on Strawberry Reservoir. Located less than an hour drive from Park City, and just 1.5 hours from Salt Lake City’s International Airport, this year-round mountain paradise is a perfect getaway that’s not too far, but just far enough to be in the middle of where memories are made. 

Strawberry appeals to local and international visitors alike for its world-class fishing, outdoor recreation, stunning scenery, pristine air and water, cool summer temperatures, and winter activities.

This vast historic ranch comprises over 7,000 acres of private land surrounded by over three million acres of National Forest lands.

The initial Lakeside phases of phase 1A and 1B will have approximately 58 lots and cabins available for purchase.

For the first time in its 100 year history, private lots and cabins are now being made available in the introductory phase of the development project. Since Strawberry Ranch is part of a special resort overlay zone, owners will be able to rent out their cabins on a nightly basis through the resort, if they desire.

Current plans for the Resort, subject to county and design approvals, include the following envisioned amenities:

  • A Welcome Center Lodge that will feature a restaurant offering dining and catering services

  • An Activity Barn where families and large groups can enjoy gathering for reunions, receptions, retreats, seminars, and concerts

  • A clubhouse and a swimming pool

  • Miles of groomed trails for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, ATV and snowmobiling

  • Crosscountry, backcountry and snowcat skiing

  • A high speed, cutting edge fiber network, allowing you to “disconnect” without losing your connection

  • A self-reliant utility infrastructure including

    • An off-grid power system with tracking solar and battery storage supported with redundant power generation

    • A water distribution well with a pristine quality rating.

    • A Sewer treatment system completely below ground — no septic

    • A centralized gas system -- No white propane tanks

  • An Outdoor Academy that will foster learning for people of all ages in Strawberry’s naturally inspiring setting (see amenities tab above).

  • Zip lines, fishing tours, wagon rides, cattle ranching, outdoor entertainment, and so much more!

Owners will also have an opportunity to utilize the Aspen Grove Marina just 200 yards from where the Welcome Lodge will be built.
